Before I began work. This is the battery box and air tank area.

Batteries have been removed. I did break the battery tie down bars. They were just too rusted. I will have to fabrtcate something from allthread to hold the batteries down now...

Cleaned up the batteries with a bit of soap and water

Spray painted the battery box and air tanks to help prevent rust. The new tank has been installed (left-most tank). I reused all the old push connector fittings, but the one on the front was not salvageable. That part should be arriving from Amazon tomorrow.

I reused all the fittings from the old tank. After a bit of cleaning they all seem to be in pretty good shape. Hopefully they hold air when I pressurize the system.

My new jumbo strap wrench. It worked perfectly to remove this 7" filter.
