Upside down bed with outside strips of 3/16" decking welded to stringers. I later cut out center of rear 2 stringers to enable room for frame mounted hitch platform.

More hitch platform mock up.....measure twice, weld once.

Hitch platform bolted to frame. Big magnet really came in handy. as did the traveling overhead hoist.

Frame mounted hitch protruding above deck. Hitch extends beyond back of bed to allow trailer turn clearance for Smart car.
