A Wrangler 392 With a Place for the Camp Gear

The Hydro is our Hydro Blue 2024 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 392, built as AAL’s first turnkey vehicle project intended for sale. It debuted at SEMA 2024 with an equipped Adventure Trailer Kit (ATK) trailer and has since gone to its new owner. Inside the Jeep, the layout puts the fridge and drawers beneath a cargo shelf, with water and a working surface at the tailgate. The trailer adds another equipment area behind the vehicle. This page documents that combination so you can see how the parts fit together and decide which pieces suit your own build. Vehicle: 2024 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 392 Color: Hydro Blue Cargo: MASS platform, drawers, fridge slide, and shelf Trailer: AAL Adventure Trailer Kit The Hydro and its ATK trailer, photographed together before the build went to its new owner.

    Start With the Cargo Foundation

The Jeep JL MASS Plus Storage Platform is the foundation for the cargo modules. The rear photos show a fridge on the left and drawers on the right, with the blue MASS Cargo Shelf above them. This makes the vertical space part of the layout: the lower modules provide access through the open tailgate, while the shelf gives other equipment a separate level. When planning a similar arrangement, measure the fridge with its handles and check lid clearance beneath the shelf. Leave the ventilation clearance specified by your fridge manufacturer. The fridge and drawer modules sit side by side beneath the blue cargo shelf. The VersaTable’s extended work surface sits beside the cargo system.

Bring the Kitchen Out to the Tailgate

The JL Flip’n Slide brings the fridge out of the cargo area and provides a fold-out prep surface. The Tailgate VersaTable adds a second working area on the open tailgate. The photographs show both surfaces in use around the rear opening. Think through that working space before choosing components: where will you stand, can the drawers open, and can you reach the fridge without moving the rest of your equipment? Confirm the current slide’s dimensions against your particular fridge.

Keep Water Close to the Work Surface

The Hydro pairs a Dometic water jug and faucet with the tailgate setup. The jug is mounted near the table, putting water within reach of the rear working area. The build’s parts list includes the Dometic GO Water Jug Mount Bundle. Check the contents of the exact water kit you select, including the jug, faucet, mount, and any required hardware. A photograph of an equipped vehicle does not mean every pictured accessory comes with one mount. The mounted water jug and faucet beside the open tailgate. The trailer’s rear equipment area open for access. Additional exterior and storage views are in the gallery.

Give the Trailer Its Own Equipment Area

The ATK trailer extends the build beyond the Jeep’s cargo compartment. The gallery shows its rear storage opened and equipment carried on top, along with exterior views of the Jeep and trailer together. The Adventure Trailer Kit has its own configuration choices. Use The Hydro as a layout reference, then review the current kit and selected options separately. The accessories shown on this completed trailer are not a list of everything included with the base kit. Before planning a similar pairing, check the loaded trailer weight, tongue weight, and your vehicle’s applicable limits. The build photos do not establish a loaded weight or towing rating.

See the Rear Cargo Setup in Motion

This short visual tour shows the storage system and tailgate work area being opened. Watch it alongside the photos to see how the fridge, drawers, and table occupy the rear of the Jeep. The clip is set to music rather than a narrated technical walkthrough. The specifications below and individual product pages provide the component details.

    Electrical Mounting for the 392

The parts list also includes the Wrangler 392 Cargo Tray and a 392 battery bracket. The tray provides mounting space for electrical components such as busbars and fuse blocks in an auxiliary battery setup. Choose the battery, charging equipment, circuit protection, and wiring for your own system; the tray is mounting hardware.
