Our new shop truck is a 2026 Ford F-250 Super Duty Tremor, a Platinum Plus with the H.O. diesel engine. The goal is a full trail and tow build: a truck we can take into the mountains and put to work with a trailer behind it. We're at the beginning. The current setup pairs a leveling kit with 37-inch Nitto Ridge Grapplers on 18-inch Raceline Omega wheels. Our Ford BoxLink Fuel Jug Mount Kit is also installed at the bedside. Beyond these additions, the truck is stock. This page starts with that setup. As the build progresses, we'll add the parts we choose, why we choose them, and what we learn using the truck.

The first changes are straightforward: a leveling kit, 37-inch Nitto Ridge Grappler tires, and 18-inch Omega wheels from Raceline Wheels. That's the starting point for our truck, rather than a complete fitment recipe. We'll add the leveling-kit details and wheel specifications as we document the setup.

We have one Ford BoxLink Fuel Jug Mount Kit installed in the F-250. It gives the orange jug a dedicated spot at the bedside, with the mount secured to the factory BoxLink mounting points. The orange-jug installation photos on the product page were taken in this truck. The kit includes the bedside brackets, jug mount, ratchet strap, and mounting hardware. The jug is supplied separately.

The towing side is already part of the job: hauling our large gooseneck trailer for Ford Raptor Rally. The long-term plan is a full dual-purpose build, with trail use and towing shaping the decisions as it develops. For now, the future parts list is still taking shape. We'll document each addition here as it goes on the truck, keeping the installed equipment separate from what's being considered. Platinum Plus, Tremor, and the H.O. diesel. A leveling kit and the 37-inch Nitto Ridge Grappler / 18-inch Raceline Omega combination are installed. The Ford BoxLink Fuel Jug Mount Kit is also installed, holding an orange jug at the bedside. The rest of the truck remains stock. Next comes developing the full trail and tow setup.
